Blog simplified

This blog was originally hosted on Blogspot. Then Blogspot started sucking, so I moved to a WordPress installation on my own domain. WordPress was fine, but the complexity wasn't worth it. So now this blog just consists of static HTML pages generated by a short Python script. No more worrying about comment spam or potential WP security issues, and much easier to customize!

Unfortunately, this means that the comments have been removed, and no future commenting will be possible. The comment rate on this blog was roughly 3/year, so not a big loss. There's usually more discussion on Google+, and on mailing lists where I link to my posts. Comments from before 2012 can still be found on the Blogspot site.
