_acb_mat_charpoly, acb_mat_charpoly
Synopsis
#include <flint/acb_mat.h>void acb_mat_charpoly(acb_poly_t poly, const acb_mat_t mat, slong prec)sourceSet poly to the characteristic polynomial \det(xI - A) of the square n \times n matrix A (an exception is raised otherwise). The underscore version writes n + 1 coefficients. Wrappers of _gr_mat_charpoly_berkowitz, the division-free algorithm of Berkowitz with O(n^4) operations, which avoids divisions by balls that contain zero (Characteristic and minimal polynomials). A non-finite matrix gives indeterminate coefficients.
