ca_struct, ca_t
#include <flint/ca.h>ca_structca_tA number or special value. The structure holds a word field, which encodes a pointer to the field K (an object owned by the context) or one of the special values, and the element data: an inline fmpq for K = \mathbb{Q}, an inline nf_elem_struct when K = \mathbb{Q}(a) for a single algebraic a, or a pointer to a heap-allocated fmpz_mpoly_q_struct for any other field. A signed infinity stores its sign c as a field element with a flag in field. A ca_t is an array of one structure, so it is passed by reference.
Since the field is a shallow reference to an object in the context, creating many elements of the same field is cheap. The layout is internal; use the functions of this module (or the macros in Internal functions) to access the data.
