_decfloat_dot2

Synopsis#include <flint/decimal.h>
int _decfloat_dot2(decfloat_t res, const decfloat_t x1, const decfloat_t y1, const decfloat_t x2, const decfloat_t y2, int subtract, slong prec, int rnd, decimal_rounding_info * info, decmag_ptr err, gr_ctx_t ctx)source

Sets res to x_1 y_1 \pm x_2 y_2 correctly rounded (with the convention that a zero factor annihilates its term even when the other factor is infinite), optionally recording the rounding error. This is the primitive behind complex multiplication and division for both floating-point numbers and balls.
