decball_struct, decball_t
#include <flint/decimal.h>decball_structdecball_tA ball [m \pm r] consisting of a midpoint of type decfloat_struct (field mid) and a radius of type decmag_struct (field rad), representing the set of real numbers \{ x : |x - m| \le r \}. The midpoint is always finite; an infinite radius denotes the whole real line. Arithmetic operations on balls are guaranteed to produce balls containing the exact result of the operation applied to any points of the input balls, with midpoints computed to the context precision in the context rounding mode.
The ball ring is presented to the generics interface as the (inexact) field of real numbers: predicates return T_UNKNOWN when the balls do not decide the answer, cmp returns GR_UNABLE for overlapping balls, division by a ball containing zero returns GR_UNABLE (GR_DOMAIN for an exact zero), and any operation whose result would be infinite or undefined returns GR_DOMAIN or GR_UNABLE.
