gr_ctx_is_approx_commutative_ring
Synopsis
#include <flint/gr.h>Returns whether the structure \tilde R implemented by ctx is an approximate version of a commutative ring R: the axioms need only hold up to a small perturbation, |\tilde a - \tilde b| < \varepsilon in place of a = b. Polynomials with floating-point coefficients form an approximate commutative ring; 2 \times 2 matrices with floating-point entries do not. Every commutative ring is an approximate commutative ring.
