mp_real_set_verbose, mp_real_get_verbose

Synopsis#include <flint/mp_real.h>
void mp_real_set_verbose(int level)source
int mp_real_get_verbose(void)source

Set or read the level of progress reports on stderr for huge computations: 0 is silent, 1 prints at most one line every two seconds from the long loops and the end of every phase that took that long, and 2 prints the start and end of every phase above a few thousand limbs with its size, thread budget, time and (on Linux) memory use.

The default is 0 unless the environment variable FLINT_MP_REAL_VERBOSE sets another level; it is read once, when no level has been set. Each line carries the time since the first message and the id of the calling thread; lines from different threads never interleave.
