fmpz_poly_q_derivative
Synopsis
#include <flint/fmpz_poly_q.h>void fmpz_poly_q_derivative(fmpz_poly_q_t rop, const fmpz_poly_q_t op)sourceSets rop to the derivative of op.
For \mathit{op} = a/b with b nonconstant, let d = \gcd(b, b'). Then
\left(\frac{a}{b}\right)' = \frac{a' (b/d) - a (b'/d)}{b \cdot (b/d)},
and the numerator and denominator of this expression can only have a constant common factor, which is removed by dividing by the gcd of their contents [Hor1972].
