Synopsis#include <flint/mpoly.h>
void mpoly_main_variable_split_LEX(slong * ind, ulong * pexp, const ulong * Aexp, slong l1, slong Alen, const ulong * mults, slong num, slong Abits)source
void mpoly_main_variable_split_DEG(slong * ind, ulong * pexp, const ulong * Aexp, slong l1, slong Alen, ulong deg, slong num, slong Abits)source

Split one-word monomials (Aexp, Alen) by the value of their most significant field (the main variable for lex, the total degree for degree orderings), which takes at most l1 values. The array ind of length \mathit{l1} + 1 receives the start of each chunk, and pexp the remaining num fields of each monomial in tight packing with the bases mults (for lex) or all equal to deg (for degree orderings, where the lowest field is dropped because the total degree determines it). Used by the array multiplication.
