void ca_sgn(ca_t res, const ca_t x, ca_ctx_t ctx)source

Sets res to the complex sign of x, which is x/|x| for x \ne 0 and 0 for x = 0. For special values, \operatorname{sgn}(c \infty) = c, \operatorname{sgn}(\tilde \infty) is Undefined, and Undefined and Unknown map to themselves.
