deccball_struct, deccball_t

Synopsis#include <flint/decimal.h>
deccball_struct
deccball_t

A complex ball stored as a pair of real balls (fields re and im of type decball_struct), representing the rectangle \{ a + bi : |a - m_r| \le r_r, |b - m_i| \le r_i \} as in acb. Operations produce balls containing the exact result for every point of the input balls, with midpoints computed to the context precision in the context rounding mode (the same mode for both parts).

The ring is presented to the generics interface as an inexact, algebraically closed field: predicates return T_UNKNOWN when the balls do not decide the answer, cmp is only defined for real balls, and division by a ball containing zero returns GR_UNABLE.
